Michael Gurian

          

Dr. Gurian is the New York Times bestselling author of thirty-two books published in twenty-three languages and co-founder of the Gurian Institute.

He has spoken for the United Nations on violence against women; provided information on boys' and girls' educational needs to the White House; and briefed members of the 114th Congress on the boy crisis in America. A number of Michael's books have sparked national debate, including The Wonder of BoysThe Wonder of GirlsBoys and Girls Learn Differently!, and Leadership and the Sexes.

As a social philosopher, he has pioneered efforts to bring neurobiology and brain research into homes, schools, corporations, and public policy. The Gurian Institute conducts research internationally, launches pilot programs, and trains professionals. Michael travels extensively to provide keynotes and consulting.
